PRECIFORGE takes part in the Journées Usines Ouvertes 2025 (Open Factory Days 2025)
What are Open Factory Days?
Open Factory Days is a free national event organized by the “Société des Ingénieurs Arts & Métiers” -> Society of Arts & Crafts Engineers. These days aim to bring industry closer to the general public and raise awareness of the challenges of reindustrialization. This is because they enable visitors to get to the heart of unique know-how and modern processes.
The first edition will be held on April 4 and 5, 2025:
The day of April 4 is dedicated to factory visits for primary, middle and high school students. This will enable us to promote industrial professions to young people.
Then, on April 5, the general public will have the opportunity to discover France’s industries and the regions where factories are located.
The event has the support of a large number of players involved in France’s industrial revival. Industrial companies can register one or more of their sites to take part in the event. This will enable them to showcase their skills and expertise.
PRECIFORGE opens its doors to Lycée Jean Zay – Jean Zay High School (Thiers)
We’re delighted to welcome secondary school pupils behind the scenes of the forging industry, so that they can explore the various exciting trades that make up our company.
At PRECIFORGE, we’re proud of the men and women who embody our expertise. The innovation that drives our teams and our actions in favor of the environment and sustainable development.
Students will get an up-close look at forging made in France, and see that it’s all around them! And even in their daily lives!
It’s an opportunity for them to talk to professionals and ask all their questions. We hope that this visit will awaken their curiosity and inspire new vocations.
Because, who knows, maybe some of them will one day join our fine team to shape the future of French metallurgy!
