Preciforge and Bourguignon Barré at CastForge 2026 ! Come to see us in Stuttgart

This week, the FORLAM Forge Group is exhibiting at CastForge 2026, the international trade show dedicated to foundry and forging, taking place in Stuttgart (Germany) from June 9 to 11, 2026.

Our teams look forward to welcoming you at two adjacent booths :

  • Booth 10G72 — Bourguignon Barré (hammer forging, Les Hautes-Rivières, Ardennes)
  • Booth 10G74 — Preciforge (mechanical press die forging, Thiers, Puy-de-Dôme)

A wide range of materials — from carbon steels to superalloys.

Two complementary technologies, the same high standards

FORLAM Forge brings together two hot forging entities with complementary expertise:

Preciforge specializes in mechanical press forging, a technology that ensures high dimensional precision and excellent repeatability for large production runs. Based in Thiers, at the heart of the Puy-de-Dôme region’s metallurgical tradition, Preciforge serves demanding industries such as automotive, energy, agriculture and forestry, valves and fittings, and defense.

Bourguignon Barré specializes in drop-hammer forging, a process particularly well-suited to complex parts with three-dimensional geometries, in small, medium, and large production runs. Located in Hautes-Rivières in the Ardennes region, the company forges special steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and high-performance alloys for strategic industrial sectors.

Both plants share a common approach: supplying near-net-shape forged parts with oriented grain structure that ensures mechanical strength, and the ability to process a wide range of materials.

Why visit us at CastForge?

CastForge is the leading European event for industrial buyers, engineering firms, and procurement managers sourcing forged or cast parts.

If you’re facing any of these situations, our teams are here to discuss them with you:

  • Need for additional forging capacity to handle a surge in orders or secure your supply chain.
  • Project involving parts made from challenging materials : stainless steel, alloys
  • Source transfer or supplier diversification for strategic forged parts
  • Ongoing consultation regarding valve bodies, flanges, transmission parts, defense, or aerospace components
  • Interest in geographic complementarity between Europe and France with a certified forging subcontractor

A group deeply rooted in French industry, focused on exports

In addition to Preciforge and Bourguignon Barré, the group relies on ALR (Aciéries et Laminoirs de Rives), its affiliated steel mill, which provides upstream control over certain ranges of specialty steels.

This vertical integration offers tangible benefits to our customers: enhanced material traceability, responsiveness in procurement, and technical consistency from the raw material to the delivered forged part
