Created in 1956 in Thiers, PRECIFORGE started its forging activity with the production of hand tooling parts on drop hammers.
In the 70s, the company focused on the Car Industry , and began to export
Its development keeps on going and the company wins more and more international market shares, realising over 50% of its turnover in export.
Preciforge grew quickly and invested in new production lines such as Maxi presses.

Nowadays PRECIFORGE is specialized in the production of hot drop forgings on Maxi presses. The weight range goes from 100 g to 10 kg in medium, large and very large series.
The workshop disposes of 9 Maxi press production lines from 700 to 2 500 tons and realises 90% of its activity in export .Rigorous and qualified , the company knows how to meet all the expectations of its customers, in France and abroad.
