PRECIFORGE’s new saw

Increased demands on our markets. Preciforge decided to invest in a first sawing line that is added to our workshop for the largest diameters of steel bars. This new saw makes a perfectly perpendicular cut of steel bars, we can greatly improve our forging processes by responding to application cases requiring the forging of blocks laid vertically. The gain of the smooth surface and this perpendicular detail makes it possible to minimize the excess of material during hot pressure by obtaining a better flow.
